FULL MANAGEMENT & ADVISORY
Full Hotel Management & Advisory
Senior hotel management for owners who do not want to run the hotel themselves — and do not need a full-time executive on the payroll to get it.

Some owners want to be involved in the detail. Others want a property that runs properly, numbers they can trust at the end of each month, and one person who is accountable when something is wrong. This is for the second group.
Who this tends to suit
- An owner who has bought well but does not want the day-to-day.
- A hotel between general managers, where the gap is costing more than the salary would.
- An owner whose property is a long way from where they live.
- An investor with an asset and no operating team behind it.
- A small group where standards and reporting differ from site to site because nobody senior sits across all of them.
What it covers
- Operational oversight — standards, daily routines, and the parts of the operation that are quietly not working.
- Budget control and monthly reporting written so an owner can read it without a hospitality background.
- Team leadership — recruitment, structure, and holding the management line when it needs holding.
- Revenue oversight — rate, channel mix and the periods that carry the year.
- Supplier and contract management, including the utility and service contracts that renew on autopilot.
- Maintenance and CapEx planning, so the building is dealt with before it becomes urgent.
What an owner actually receives
A monthly report against budget with the departmental detail behind it, a clear view of forward bookings, the issues that need an owner’s decision separated from the ones that do not, and a named person answering the phone. The aim is that you spend your time on the decisions only an owner can make, and none of it on whether the rota was covered.
Several properties
Across more than one site the value is consistency: the same operating procedures, comparable weekly reporting, and standards that do not drift because one hotel has a strong manager and another does not. Multi-property oversight is part of the same work.
How this compares with hiring
A capable senior operator on a full-time contract is the right answer for a hotel large enough to carry the salary. Below that, most independent properties end up with either an overstretched manager or an absent owner. This sits in between: senior time where it changes the result, without a full-time cost the property cannot support. It is worth being straightforward about the trade — you get experience and accountability, not somebody on site every day.
Proof it works at the operating level
An 18-bedroom Edinburgh hotel run on a lean, technology-led model brought wage costs down 70% and grew revenue 30%. Read the case study → More examples are in the case studies.
How to start
Start with a free consultation. We will go through what the hotel needs, what you want to stay involved in, and whether full management or a lighter advisory arrangement is the sensible fit.
